Buckeye
Buckeyes are a critically endangered breed worth preserving! They are the only chicken breed of the American Class to have been developed by a woman (in -- you guessed it -- Ohio). Their coloring is a rich mahogany brown with dark gray tips on their tail feathers. Their relatively large size and small pea combs make them hardy in the winter, and while not much is known about their personality, the breeds that went into the creation of the Buckeye were largely very docile.
