Caption: The Golden Laced Wyandotte is a rare variety of the very common Wyandotte breed. Wyandottes in general are a friendly breed, and the Golden Laced is no exception. This is a pullet -- not a full-grown hen. (You can tell because her comb and wattles are still small and pink. Picture 18 shows the fully-formed comb and wattles of a Golden Laced hen.)
