Caption: This White Crested Black Polish Cockerel was supposed to be a hen! The 2-year old hens in the flock he was introduced to didn't respect him at first, so he was literally "henpecked" when we took this photo, and though you can't see it, about half of the feathers on his crest were missing. Now he has grown up to be a big, proud rooster commanding the respect of all his hens.
