Smart "bathtub brooder" design by Nancy Dobrinski of Minocqua, WI. Note the under layer of plastic to protect the tub, then newspaper for padding and moisture absorption, and pine shavings on top. Nancy hung the heat lamp from the tension shower curtain rod: a safe, easily-adjustable system. We also love how much room the chicks had to roam, and the roosting pole. Way to go, Nancy!
