You're missing out if you haven't seen this movie! Put out in 2001 by PBS and written and directed by famed documentarian Mark Lewis, it's a hilarious peek into the lives of chickens today - and their owners. Features several vignettes, including: a woman who saved the life of one of her "girls" with mouth-to-beak resuscitation; a woman whose pet Silkie rooster, "Cotton" goes everywhere with her including the supermarket and (yes!) into the pool, and wears panty-diapers to prevent "accidents"; a headless chicken (true story!) and more. It's engrossing and entertaining, whether you're interested in keeping chickens or not. If you don't believe us, surf the web for reviews...
Run time: 60 minutes.
