This electric water heater base will keep your flock's water from freezing inside your coop. It operates automatically when the temperature drops below 35 degrees, and will keep up to 3 gallons of water from icing over in temperatures as low as 10 degrees. (Please note it will not heat up unless the water is in danger of freezing.)

Heater is 125-watt, thermostatically controlled, and works for up to 3 gallons only. Protective covering on the bottom for added safety. Can also be used with any metal bowl or bucket. Comes with 5' power cord and 1 year guarantee. Please note: waterer sold separately.
