This 1.5-gallon capacity heated bowl is our most economical way to quench your flock's thirst in the winter. If kept from the wind, this will prevent your water from icing over up to -10 degrees! Also features an anti-tip design, anti-chew cord, and one-year warranty from the manufacturer. Takes 60 watts of power.

Do not use this waterer for baby chicks: they will drown! Also keep in mind that your birds will step in the bowl and make a mess of the water, so you'll have to change it frequently. That's the drawback of using this design as opposed to a heated water base and metal waterer (shown below).
