Anconas are an Italian breed--they are wonderful layers of large white eggs. Similar in temperament to leghorns, they're not usually the best choice for calm and friendly pets, and tend to be nervous around humans. They also need a good amount of space, and their large combs can be susceptible to frostbite in very cold areas. Nonetheless, if you have the right conditions, adding a few of these mottled black and white beauties to your flock will provide good eye candy, and plenty of delicious eggs!

Shipping: Eggs are shipped via USPS Priority Mail. No need to choose a faster shipping method besides 'Ground'. If you'd like eggs shipped via USPS Express Mail, please give us a call!
