Sebrights are one of the most stunning breeds of chickens around. Here we offer the beautiful Silver Sebrights. Feathers have a snowy white base, with each one laced in shiny black, like dragon scales. Even more interesting is the fact that both males and female Senrights have the same plumage--males are "henny feathered"--meaning they do not have the pointy hackle and saddle feathers that distinguish roosters of other breeds.

There is no standard version of the Sebright; they are a true Bantam. Roosters average 26 ounces while the hens average 22 ounces. Both have a chesty, jaunty stance with the wings pointed downward: their incredible white and black lacing makes them look surreal, like miniature a pen-and-ink drawing of a bird!

Sebrights lay tiny little tinted eggs, don't lay well and rarely set. They are kept chiefly for pleasure and exhibition. They are friendly little birds when raised with affection, although they are not particularly docile. They can be little show-offs! (We think they know how beautiful they are.)

Sebright chicks have a reputation for being difficult to rear, although we have not found that to be true with our lines. The eggs we're offering are truly lovely. They will not disappoint you.

We guarantee that the fertile hatching eggs you order from us will arrive intact and ready for incubation. If any eggs for which you have paid arrive cracked or broken, contact us within two business days of receiving them with photos of the damage.

IMPORTANT: Receiving unbroken eggs is NOT a guarantee that they will all hatch. Why? Read more, here.

Unfortunately, we are unable ship hatching eggs to Hawaii.
