Plus, it’s versatile for many different types of coops. You can open your door from the left or right: Flip it around to the desired orientation.

Power Supply Options:

• The 120V AC Adapter plugin option includes a 6.5' cord.
• Usage Tip: We recommend plugging in the unit if you are running it in extremely cold conditions or if your coop is in a shaded area.
• The Solar Kit option is strong and flexible, with no glass to break, and includes a 9' cord. (The Solar Kit upgrade option also includes the AC plugin option.) 
• Usage Tip: Ensure the solar panel is installed when it can receive 8-12 hours of sunlight daily.  

Features with Wifi (or Bluetooth App) Upgrade:

• No ongoing costs! The app is free to download for as many users as you need. System updates are also free!
• Program your settings or check on your auto door from anywhere in the world with WiFi.
• It opens and closes at sunrise and dusk (between sunset and nightfall.) OR set your own custom open and close times.
• Features a secondary closing option for any late "party hens." The door will close at your scheduled time, then immediately open back up to allow any late chickens in the coop. The door will close back up for the night a few minutes later.
• Manual open/close override option (switch located on the control box and a button in the app.)
• Allows you to customize the strength of door closing.
• Data and programming options can be viewed on your smartphone's screen, so there are no confusing scrolling option lists on a tiny screen. Power-saving sleep modes and push notifications are sent to your smartphone when your device wakes up from power-saving mode.
• App display includes temperature near the coop, last time open/closed, battery/power level, and additional preferences & network options. Includes a low battery alarm which can be heard from about 150 ft away, even with background traffic noise. Your Hentronix unit will adjust for daylight savings (your phone automatically tells your unit the time.)
• The door will perform its programmed tasks even if your phone is turned off or if you are having WiFi problems.
• Control and rename multiple Hentronix door openers from the same app.
• Usage Tip: For this upgrade option to work with your coop setup: your coop will need to be within your WiFi range OR connected via Bluetooth within range of the door (about 300 feet.) 
• Purchasing Tip: There is a price increase for the WiFi App upgrade if purchased separately from the time of the Auto Door. We will ship you a replacement control board that needs to be installed by you. 

Features without WiFi App upgrade:

• When using the non-app version, make sure to place the control box where it receives some sunlight. It does not need full sunlight - but enough to register day from night.

Shipping Information:

• The Automatic Door Opener is expected to ship within 2-3 weeks after ordering and will require a signature for delivery. We will send your tracking number by email as soon as it's available, or you can look for it in our website's Track My Order area.
• Please carefully inspect your parts and ensure all items in the packing list are included. If you are missing any items, you must notify Hentronix within 15 days of arrival for replacements.

Return Information:

Hentronix must receive returns within 15 days of receiving the item.
