Day-Old-Chicks: Bantam Assortment
Description:
Bantams are special little birds, 1/2 to 1/4 the size of "standard" chickens. They come in myriad colors, feather patterns and personalities. Purchase 5 or more and you're guaranteed a mix of at least 3 different varieties! The breeds that could be in your order will be any of our bantam varieties, including:

Assortment note
“Assortment" refers to the possible breeds you may receive in your order, and NOT the number of chicks. Please specify the number of chicks you want to order from this assortment in the “Quantity” field when placing your order.
In other words, if you order one of this assortment, you'll only receive one chick! The more you order, the more likely you are to receive a variety of different breeds — we aim to please!
The breeds chosen to fulfill your order are selected by the hatchery based
on which breeds had a particularly good hatch the week your shipment is
scheduled -- we cannot take requests, as we are at the mercy of Mother Nature and her whims!
If you really want that one particular breed, then you'll either need to wait for its availability to pop up or consider hatching at home. Also keep in mind that breeds in assortments may or may not be tagged, specific breeds may or may not be noted on the packing list, and we cannot help identify unlabeled assortment chicks.

* The minimum order of day-old chicks shipped to Rhode Island is 12 due to Rhode Island state law.

* We can ship as few as three baby chicks! Our minimums are based on your zip code, and how
long the USPS tells us it will take for your order to arrive at your post office. The longer they tell us it
will take, the higher your minimum.

* Any order of 15+ chicks ships via USPS Priority Mail service, and 3-14 chicks ship via USPS Express Mail.
Why we use the USPS
* We offer Marek's vaccinations on all chicks, and you'll have the opportunity to select that during the checkout process.
