Description:Cream Legbars are friendly, easily handled, good layers, and one of the
most highly sought after--and rarest--breeds in this country. In fact, this is such a wonderful breed, it's one of the ultra-rare varieties Martha Stewart asked us to deliver to her in 2016 for her own flock. You've
been clamoring for them, and they're finally here! Cream Legbar eggs are a beautiful
blue, ranging from true sky blue to light turquoise. Legbars are wonderful
foragers and love to be outside (and--warning--laying their eggs anywhere but the nest box!). They do well avoiding predators in a free range environment,
although they can easily adapt to small yards and runs, as well.
Finally, Cream Legbars are fun looking, with unusual little crests tucked behind
floppy combs, looking something like they're wearing berets accented
with flowers--very cool! Cream Legbars are also "autosexing," which means the males and females look different enough when they hatch that they can be differentiated with 100% certainty.
