Duclair ducks were discovered in France and are thought to have occurred naturally from wild migrating waterfowl. They are a type of Rouen duck, medium in size, and considered "dual purpose". Over the past two centuries, the duck has been selectively bred in France, typically in either Blue or Black.
Our Duclair, however, comes from the Stone Church Farm lines in upstate New York, and is all white! The bill, shanks and feet will be orange. Our Duclair is calm and friendly, and therefore we recommend it for beginners new to waterfowl.
Our ducks will fully integrate with all the other breeds that we offer.
If you want purebred ducklings hatching from your ducks, make sure you
separate your ducks by breed during the mating season. Or you can let
your ducks cross and see what different shapes and colors you will get
with their ducklings.
