Description:
Buff Toulouse geese have the beautiful coloring and calm disposition of Buffs, but have the bigger size and dewlap of the Large Dewlap Toulouse. This rare buff coloration makes it very distinctive among Toulouse geese because the French Toulouse is gray in color and the Large Dewlap Toulouse is brown. This breed originated in the USA.
Both the gander and the goose have soft buff coloring with white
abdomens. In contrast, their breast color is a lighter shade of buff,
and their back color is a darker shade. They have dark hazel eyes, a
light orange bill, and orange legs and feet.
These heavy class geese weigh 15 to 17 lbs and are good foragers. The females lay 20-30 extra large, white eggs per year and are good mothers.
Our geese will fully integrate with all the other breeds that we offer.
If you want purebred geese, make sure you separate your geese by breed
during the mating season. Or you can let your geese cross and see what
different shapes and colors you will get with their goslings.
