This beautiful new hybrid was specially developed for those who want a hardy and reliable producer of striking blue eggs. Expect an impressive 4–5 blue eggs per week, adding a pop of color to your egg basket all year long!

Deep Ocean Cuckoos are as lovely as they are productive, featuring crested and bearded faces and gorgeous blue or black barred (cuckoo) feathering. Their combs may be either straight or a small pea type, adding to their charming, one-of-a-kind look. You can also expect them to be clean-legged. 

Even better? This hybrid has been carefully selected to be non-broody, so you can count on consistent egg production without interruptions.

Please note: Since this is a hybrid breed, there is a small chance your bird could lay a brown egg instead of a blue egg. 

Blue or Green Egg Promise

Most Easter and Olive Eggers will lay blue or green eggs. However, due to natural genetic variation, a small number may produce eggs that are brown, pinkish, or tinted instead. Since each hen lays one consistent egg color for life, egg color becomes clear once she begins laying — typically between 18 and 30 weeks.
