Description:
The White Layer Duck was developed in 1999 for the purposes of having a pure white egg layer! The White Layer produces just as many eggs as the Golden 300 Hybrid, and all of its progeny (when you cross one White Layer to another) will also lay white eggs!
They weigh 4.5-5.75 lbs, and the female lays 200-290 large white eggs weighing 75-90 grams per year. Only a very small percentage of hens will lay a blue-tinted egg.
