This breed of goose was developed in Haute Garonne, France, where the city of Toulouse is the region's center. First exported to England in the 1840s, they came to America in the early 1850s. They are fairly common, lay a good number of fertile eggs and are a sturdy, durable breed. They are one of the best breeds at hatching and raising their own young. Toulouse geese will weigh 14-16 lbs and the females will lay 25-30 extra large white eggs per year.
Our geese will fully integrate with all the other breeds that we offer. If you want purebred geese, make sure you separate your geese by breed during the mating season. Or you can let your geese cross and see what different shapes and colors you will get with their goslings.

Temporary shipping restrictions for waterfowl to Florida are currently in place. The state has imposed a temporary ban on the importation of waterfowl from any hatchery located in parts of California, citing concerns over the spread of the Avian Flu. Despite the good health of our breeder flocks in California, shipments to Florida are temporarily suspended.Read more information about the Avian Flu
