It does. The ingredients include organic corn along with organic peas, wheat, oats, fish meal, flaxseed, alfalfa meal, and kelp. This is a soy-free formula, but not corn-free. If you also need to avoid corn, our soy and corn-free grower feed is the better match.
No, it's not medicated. Organic certification prohibits synthetic medications like amprollium, so this feed sticks to organic ingredients and natural fermentation cultures instead. If your flock has had cocci problems and you want that extra protection, we carry conventional grower feeds too.
It is. Growing pullets need at least 18% protein, and the 19% in this grower covers that with some room to spare. It's enough to support healthy feathering and development from week 5 through point of lay, when you'd typically switch to a lower-protein layer feed.
