In my experience, Easter eggers, Americanas, Buff Orpingtons, and Old English Game Bantams are the best pet breeds. Mine are in total lap chickens (especially the Old English Game bantam!!! She is THE BEST and most resilient and friendly chicken that I have ever owned!!
